Pomfret Recreation Presents:

Group Trail Ride at the Park with Quiet Corner NEMBA

Join Quiet Corner NEMBA for a guided group ride on the trails in Pomfret Forest!

  • Riders will be split into groups by skill level, 
  • 10-12 riders per group. 
  • Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced groups available. 
  • Please be ready to ride by 9 am.
  • This event is for everyone ages 12 and up

The Pomfret Recreation Department will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs after the ride at the white barn. Cash only!

  • $10 individual
  • $15 family

**Age 19 and older is considered an adult – only 2 adults are allowed per family.

**Family = Immediate family that resides in a home

Registration limit: 40

Please bring your own mountain bike and a helmet. No one will be allowed to ride without a helmet. Check in at the Pavilion before breaking off into groups. Pre-registration is required, no walk-ins accepted.

Terms and Conditions

  • Alcohol consumption is NOT allowed at the Pomfret Recreation Park.
  • I understand there can be risks in participating in this league and I’m willing to assume these risks for myself/my child. I further understand that the Town of Pomfret does not provide medical insurance for recreation activity participants. I, the undersigned, hereby release all claims that I may have against the Town of Pomfret or the Pomfret Recreation Dept./Commission, Program supervisors, its directors, agents and employees and any other officials that represent this program.
  • All participants must sign waiver

NEMBA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on recreational trails advocacy with 33 Chapters throughout New England and over 8,000 members. Our goal is to promote the best that mountain biking has to offer, steward the trail systems where we recreate, and ensure access to open space.
