NEMBA - Quebec Velo de Montagne Tour

Friday August 9 - Sunday August 11, 2024

Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Accueil Shannahan

2180 Rang Saguenay, Saint-Raymond, QC G3L 3G3, Canada

This August we're partnering with Quebec Velo de Montagne (QVDM) - the NEMBA of Quebec - to bring our members a once-in-a-lifetime experience. With their impressive network of trails for all tastes and levels, the five destinations of the greater Quebec City region are a must for all mountain biking enthusiasts.

What to Expect:

  • Location: We will be based for the weekend in the heart of the valley at the Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Accueil Shannahan, an outdoor destination less than an hour from Quebec City with mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and canyoning.
  • Tent Camping: Base camp will be Camping Shannahan, located at the foot of the Falaises Mountains, 300 meters from Accueil Shannahan.
  • Mountain Biking: Quebec's premier outdoor destination, the Vallée Bras-du-Nord features 100 km of mountain bike trail for two great days of riding for beginners and experts alike. Riding features a seamless blend of flowy singletrack and exhilarating terrain. Trails plunge you into the boreal forest, along vertiginous cliffs, rivers, waterfalls and cascades. On  Sunday, participants will drive to Empire 47, just 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City, with more than 50km of singletrack for all style from beginner to double diamond expert trails.

  • Guided Rides: Participants can choose between exclusive guided rides by VBN insiders, or self-guided rides
  • Food: Quebec City takes their food seriously and you won't be disappointed. Dinners will be courtesy of the Roquemont Restaurant and Microbrasserie and Restauran Le Mundial.
  • Social - Post-ride, relax by the fire pits and enjoy snacks and a beverage as you get to know you fellow mountain bikers.
  • Other Activities: When off the bike, you can opt to join group hiking or canoeing outings.
  • Check out these videos for more on the riding - Kraken Blue Trail, Full La Lgende.
