Southeast CT NEMBA Mountain Bike Adventure Series Ride   

Bluff Point to Merritt Family Forest

We will visit Bluff Point and Haley Farm State Parks, the Town of Groton’s Mortimer Wright Nature Preserve, and Groton Open Space Association’s (GOSA’s) The Merritt Family Forest. From ocean-side trails to technical singletrack, the properties offer a wide variety of riding for all ability levels. There also are hiking, beautiful beaches and a picnic area with grills. All properties are open until sunset.


When:

November 11, 2023 (rain date November 12, 2023)

Arrows come down 12:30PM


Where:

Bluff Point State Park

Parking lot entrance is at the end of Depot St.

Groton, CT. (NO PARKING FEE for out-of-state cars!)


Fee:

Kids 12 and under free with registered parent or guardian

$20 members

$35 non-members

One free ride with new NEMBA membership at registration:

$45 Individual non-member; guests at non-member rate.

$65 Family non-member; family members at member individual rate.


Registration:

Online Pre-Registration is REQUIRED and is limited to 140 participants.There will be no on-site registration.  

Registration closes at 9am Friday November 10.  All participants that sign up by midnight November 7 will be entered into a drawing to win some swag!

Details:

There will be three arrowed routes: short (5 miles), medium and long (19+ miles). All are a mix of flow and tech. Routes will be posted on Trailforks.com.

A led kids/family/beginner ride will leave from the registration area at 9:45 a.m. Kids must ride with an adult and be listed on an adult’s registration. Pace to suit all riders.

This event is a fundraiser for Southeast CT NEMBA and GOSA. There will be no refunds.
