2022 Bear Brook Boogie

Come join the Southern New Hampshire chapter of NEMBA for all the fun, while helping to save/maintain the trails in Bear Brook State Park! All the money raised by the Boogie goes directly to the park to rebuild and maintain the trails.

Same earlier date for 2022 - Sunday September 11, 2022 - Back in 2021, we held this event the second weekend of September and it was a great success. So, for this year, we decided to keep it the same weekend.

Same new Starting Location for 2022 - Hayes Field (Podunk Rd) - Starting the event from Hayes Field is very exciting for us as it allows us to host better loops and also provide an all around better experience for all rider levels allowing riders to “get to the good stuff” without having to ride a long way to get there. - We introduced this new starting location back in 2021 and it was awesome so we intend on keeping the event based at Hayes Field going forward.

Marked Courses: Riders can follow marked courses on their own at any time or take part in a led ride. There will be a 1.75 mile kids/family loop, a 3.5 mile demo loop, a 6-mile beginner loop, a 14-16 mile intermediate loop (or a little longer if you take the Hero option back to Hayes), and a 20-25 mile advanced loop. Ride fast or just cruise, the trails are arrowed so everyone knows where to go and you don’t have to worry about getting lost!

Led Rides (see full schedule below): We
will have a family ride of about 2 miles, a beginner ride of about 6 miles, an intermediate ride of about 16 miles, and an advanced ride of about 24 miles. The led family ride is an addition for this year. You can choose to ride in the led group or the well arrowed kids/family loop as many times as you want at your own pace.

Event is Class 1 (pedal assist) e-MTB friendly this year.

Cost: $10.00 per rider for NEMBA members, $50.00 per rider for non-members

***Riders age 12 & under ride free with a paying adult admission.*** Just be sure to note these riders names in the appropriate age 12 & under rider box during online registration. Also, please be sure to include those riders when you're filling out your online waiver to save time at event check-in.

*Online registration will only be available until 7pm ET on Saturday September 10th* Participants that register online prior to that time will be eligible to win one of our door prize raffles! After that time, only in-person, day of event registrations will be processed (with online payments, onsite credit card and cash options (credit card is preferred if not paying online)). Plan ahead, register online and save yourself some time on event day!

You can join or renew on the NEMBA website before registering for the event.

Bear Brook State Park, located in Allenstown NH, offers over 30 miles of mountain biking trails from mellow woods roads to challenging single track. In addition, the park offers camping (May – October) and a beach/swimming area. Come explore the park while helping a good cause. It’s a great way to spend the day and it’s a great place to ride!
