NEMBA Trail School - Spring 2022

Dividend Ponds, Rocky Hill, Connecticut - Saturday, May 21st

(with required online session Thursday, May 19th)


A NEMBA Trail School in partnership with CCAP (Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program) supported by Cannondale.


This one-day trail school will teach the basics of trail assessment and maintenance as well as trail design and construction

This course is perfect for riders, trail enthusiasts, land stewards, and land managers interested in learning about creating sustainable, enjoyable trails and how to take care of them.

There will be an online meeting to go over basics prior to the in-person event. This is required to participate. Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 7pm to 8:30pm.

Participants will need to watch three videos prior to the May 19th call.

The Saturday course will involve hands-on building clinics covering tool/group safety review, inclinometer usage, trail design/layout, trail assessment, and bench cutting.

Date: Saturday, May 21, 2022
Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm
There will be an optional group ride immediately following on the local trails.

Location: Dividend Ponds, Rocky Hill, CT

CostNEMBA Members: $100, Non-NEMBA Members: $150 
Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be included. 

Participation limited to 50 people. 30 spaces reserved for CCAP attendees.
