Rockhouse Showcase

The Housatonic Valley Chapter is hosting the “Rockhouse Showcase'' with Oxford High School’s Youth Conservation Corps on Saturday August 14th from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • The event includes a series of guided rides by chapter members to show folks around the fourteen-mile trail system, including an advanced ride, inter-mellow ride, and a family ride.
  • There will also be self-guided, arrowed rides throughout the sanctuary for all levels.
  • The YCC student trail crew is also offering a guided trail run and hike for those interested in exploring Rockhouse’s hidden treasures and expansive views of the Housatonic River Valley.

We invite everyone to please join us for some well-earned food after participating in one of these activities.

We are asking everyone to preregister due to the event having limited space. Donations will be accepted for supporting the YCC trail crew’s building and trail maintenance at Rockhouse Hill.

Parking is at Oxford High School, north parking lot, 61 Quaker Farms Road, Oxford, CT. Please follow designated signs to the North Parking Lot near WestField.

Make sure you have signed NEMBA's Annual Waiver before the event.

NEMBA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on recreational trails advocacy with 33 Chapters throughout New England and over 8,000 members. Our goal is to promote the best that mountain biking has to offer, steward the trail systems where we recreate, and ensure access to open space.
