We're excited to host a Safe Trails First Aid Program, intended primarily for our chapter volunteers as a thank you for their strong efforts in building a better MTB community.

    Date: Saturday April 6th, 2024

    Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Location: Frothington Hall - 15 Barrows St, North Easton, MA 02356

David Alden-St.Pierre has created a course specifically for trailside first aid in New England.

This 4-hour program covers common injuries and breaks them down into "annoying," "ride-limiting," or "need help ASAP."

Course fee includes a Stop The Bleed certification and an American Heart Association approved CPR certificate. This course is perfect for mountain bikers, especially ride leaders.

    Learn more here: www.safetrailsfirstaid.com

If the weather cooperates, you’re next to the Flyaway and Borderland State park trails so those interested can get a great ride in after training.

    Class instructors:

David Alden St. Pierre: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

    Michael Lawless: RN, EMT-B, Firefighter

Cost per person is $85.00. The chapter will reimburse you upon attendance and course completion. Registration is limited to 20 people, and it requires a code.

Interested folks should please reach out to   jrefford@nemba.org for more information.
