Help Us Close Out NEMBA's 35th Year!
Thirty-five years ago, at a community meeting for the Middlesex Fells, Heidi Davis stood up and declared “On behalf of the New England Mountain Bike Association, we need to have access for mountain bikes,” after which she fell into her chair and promptly panicked “Eek, now I have to start an organization!”
Fast forward, and today NEMBA’s 35th year is coming to a close. We have since advocated at thousands of meetings for the right to bike on public and private land. NEMBA has hosted 30,000+ rides to foster a thriving mountain bike community. And we have seen 14,000 miles of trail built and maintained throughout New England.
Our growing community has been shaped by so many: countless volunteers, members and supporters. In this 35th year, we are especially grateful to our longtime executive director and friend, Philip Keyes, for his outstanding leadership contributing to much of our success.
Help us close out NEMBA’s 35th year and support mountain biking's future!
Your support will help us:
We know many of you want to make a donation in support of Philip Keyes, feel free to do so at this time, or make a general Annual Appeal donation. We will unveil plans for honoring Philip shortly. Stay tuned.
Thank you for supporting NEMBA as we embark on our next phase.
